Crop PDF pages: remove white margins online
Scanned pages often come with wide white borders, and documents exported from other programs carry margins you do not want. To crop PDF pages, enter how many millimetres should be cut away on each side. The tool shrinks the visible area of every page and gives you a tidy document. It is a simple way to crop PDF files for printing, for presentations or before you insert a page into another document.
The margins refer to the page as it appears on screen, also for rotated pages, so the top is always the top. You can crop all pages the same amount or limit the change to some pages, for example 1-3, 7. Please note that to crop PDF pages means hiding the outer area, not deleting it: the cut content stays inside the file. Do not rely on cropping to hide confidential information.
Everything runs on our own servers in Germany, is held in memory only and deleted after the download, at the latest after an hour. The original file is never changed. After you crop PDF pages you can rotate, number or merge them with the other tools on this site, all with the same free daily quota.

Questions and answers
Is the cropped content deleted?
No. The page only shows a smaller area; the hidden content stays in the file. Do not use cropping to hide confidential information.
Does it work with rotated pages?
Yes. The margins always refer to the page as you see it, also when a page is rotated.
Can I crop only some pages?
Yes. Enter page numbers such as 1-3, 7 and the other pages stay as they are.
How do I cut off the white margin of a PDF page?
