Scans arrive in the wrong order, a chapter has to move to the front, or a cover sheet belongs at the back. With this tool you can reorder PDF pages without opening a desktop program. Type the new page order, such as 3, 1, 2, 5-7, and the pages are put together in exactly that sequence. It is the quickest way to reorder PDF pages for a single document.

Pages you do not mention are kept after the listed ones, or removed if you prefer, which makes the same tool useful for extracting a few pages in a chosen order. A page can be repeated by naming it twice. If a whole document is upside down in sequence, one click on the reverse option turns it around. The text and images of every page stay untouched, only the order changes when you reorder PDF pages.

Everything runs on our own servers in Germany, is held in memory only and deleted after the download, at the latest after an hour. Your original file is never changed. If you need to combine several documents first, use our merge tool, and to remove pages entirely use the delete tool. With these three, reorder PDF pages, merge and delete cover most everyday jobs.

Questions and answers

How do I move one page to the front?

Enter just that page number, for example 5. The remaining pages follow in their old order. Choose “Remove other pages” if you only want the pages you listed.

Can I repeat a page?

Yes. Enter the number twice, for example 1, 2, 2, 3. The page then appears twice.

What does reverse order do?

It turns the document around: the last page becomes the first. That helps with scans that were fed in backwards.

How do I move pages in a PDF and rearrange them?
