Crop image online: rotate, flip and trim photos

A photo that is lying on its side, a picture that needs to be square for a profile, a banner in 16:9: these jobs come up every day. This tool lets you crop an image, rotate it and flip it in one go, without installing a program. Choose the format you need, such as 1:1, 4:3, 3:2 or 16:9, and the image is cut from the centre. It is a fast way to crop an image for the web, a presentation or a shop.

You can also trim the edges by a percentage from the top, right, bottom and left, then cut to a format. Rotation by 90, 180 or 270 degrees and mirroring are applied first, and the orientation stored by the camera is respected, so photos from a phone are not turned the wrong way when you crop an image. JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, TIFF, AVIF and SVG are accepted, and you can keep the format or switch to JPG, PNG or WebP.

Up to twenty images can be edited per run, several results come as a ZIP archive. All metadata is removed, so the shooting location and camera model are not passed on. Everything runs on our own servers in Germany, is held in memory only and deleted after the download, at the latest after an hour. Afterwards our compression tool can reduce the file size further. It takes seconds to crop an image this way.

How do I crop and rotate a screenshot?

Enter margins in percent or choose a fixed aspect ratio and rotate by 90, 180 or 270 degrees if needed.
